Early Life
On March 10, 1984, Carolina Osório de Castro (age 38) took birth to her father, Luca De Castro, and mother, Cecília Castello Branco, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Carolina spent her whole childhood in Rio and attended a local school along with her sister Branca and Alice.
One day Castro got to do a dance performance in school, and it made her realize that she wanted to learn dance. She attended a ballet academy for years, and even today, she spares time from her busy schedule to practice her moves.
Career
As time passed, Carol realized that she wanted to become an actress and began putting efforts in that direction. In 2002, she read a newspaper article about the auditions for a movie. At first, Castro was nervous, but then she thought about giving her 100 percent. Luckily, she was selected and assigned to play Gracinha in “Women in Love.”
Her looks caught, and acting capabilities caught the eyes of the viewers, which fueled her career. The following year Castro appeared in another show named “Her Own Destiny.” On the one hand, Castro’s TV career took off; on the other, she began doing films too.
