Bryson Muir last seen at grandmother’s home

Bryson Muir was last seen on June 16, 2024, after leaving his grandmother Cheryl Wright’s house near Cleveland, Ohio, with his mother, Kristen Muir, in a white 2015 Chevrolet Suburban.

His grandmother reported that Bryson had a bruised eye, a fat lip, and a swollen face and might have been abused by his parents. Soon after leaving, police stopped the car, but Bryson wasn’t inside.

Captain Ron Galaviz said it was just minutes between when they left and the stop, but Bryson was missing, and they don’t know where he went.

Two days later, child services asked the police to investigate domestic abuse claims at a home in Logansport, Indiana, because they couldn’t reach the family.

On June 27, police finally contacted Bryson’s parents, Daniel and Kristen Muir, who began cooperating. However, Bryson is still missing, and authorities are very worried about his safety.

Bryson Muir Believed to be in Danger

Shortly after leaving a family member’s home, Bryson Muir’s mother was pulled over by police, according to a news release. Bryson was not in the car when his mother was pulled over, police reported.

Two days after Bryson went missing, Cass County DCS workers contacted Indiana State Police with allegations of abuse involving Bryson.

The alleged domestic battery occurred inside Bryson’s home on the 1700 block of West U.S. Highway 24 in Logansport, a property owned by a group called the Servant Leader’s Foundation.

A photo provided to the news media showed the boy with a swollen, black eye.

Officials stated that they initially reached the parents, who began to show signs of cooperation.

On Friday, the Muirs had agreed to bring Bryson to meet with ISP investigators at noon, but an hour before the scheduled meeting, they backed out, which police said signaled an unwillingness to cooperate.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities continue to ask anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Bryson Muir to call the ISP Post in Peru at 800-382-0689 or dial 911.
