Jay Copeland (born on September 13, 1998) is a 23 years old aspiring singer from Salisbury who rose to popularity after clearing the auditions of the American Idol Season 20. During auditions, Jay came on stage and, after a small introduction, started singing Signed, Sealed, and Delivered by Stevie Wonder.

At first, show judges were nervous, and they thought he might not be able to sing well because even for a trained singer, matching the level of Stevie Wonder is a tough row to hoe. But Jay sang tremendously.
