Karen Bassily (age 22, born October 10, 2000) is an Egypt-born Model and actress who is currently living in Orange County County in California and since February 1, Karen has been floating into the limelight for posting her stunning modeling pictures on her Instagram account @queenbassilyy.

Her success is not confined to social media because, with her modeling talent, Karen Bassily has already made her place in several prestigious magazines, including GMARO, PUMP, MALVIE, Wheels, and Heels Magazine; that’s why now many fashion magazines are vying for Karen’s time.

Moved from Egypt to the United States

Karen Bassily, a 5 feet 8-inch tall model, is originally from Cairo, Egypt, where she was born on October 10, 2000, to her wonderful parents; she resided in her hometown till 2011.

When Karen was 11 years old, she moved to the United States with her mother, father, and brother, Patrick Bassily; yes, you heard correctly, Patrick is her brother and famous like her because he is a football star who presently plays for “Saddleback College.”

In 2011, When Karen initially arrived in the United States, she couldn’t speak English, Which had the greatest challenge of her life, but to overcome this, within a decade, she mastered four languages, and she is now fluent in Arabic, French, and English and nowadays she is doing major is cosmetology at Saddleback beauty academy along with managing her career.

Karen has had a fascination for modeling since her teens, and this love became her desire when she began watching “America’s Next Top Model” and never skipped an episode of it, and in her teenage, she understood practically everything about the modeling profession without any prior training.

Before taking her first step in the modeling and acting industry, Some of the struggles she faced were a lack of confidence, and she was determined to make a change; as a result, she booked for Ellements and MALVIE magazine shoots, owing to her hard work and confidence.

Karen: I have 5 years of modeling experience and 3 years of acting experience. My Publications are featured on the cover of GMARO, PUMP, MALVIE, and many other fashion magazines. I was featured as a lead model in an Arabic music video that aired on TV in Egypt called “Makan el Qamar,” I was also featured on a billboard in Long Beach for 4 weeks and background/extra in wiz khalifa’s new music video called “Ready for love.”

Popstard: Why You decided to become a Model or Actor, showcase your struggle.

Karen: I decided to be a model to explore my potential in the industry. I struggled with starting my career when I first moved to the U.S. since I did not know any English when I moved here. However, now I am fluent in Arabic, French, and English. Some of the struggles I faced before pursuing modeling and acting was a lack of confidence, and I decided I wanted to make a change.

Popstard: What makes you unique, what are your characteristics, and what is your working style?

Karen: My self-confidence makes me unique, and my ability to inspire others. My working style includes being dedicated and never giving up. My best characteristics are how friendly I am and my social skills.

Karen: My future goal is to continue to grow my brand and inspire others around me with my content and the entertainment industry.
