An assistant principal noticed them and reprimanded Leffler for the inappropriate talk. Instead of stopping, they went to the building’s fifth floor, where they found a private room without security cameras – a staff bathroom with a lockable door.

Their seven-minute meeting in the bathroom ended when another faculty member tried to use it and found it locked from the inside. Once the interruption passed, Leffler and the student left separately.

The following day, Leffler met the student in the stairwell again, where she was filmed giving him what appeared to be money, which he pocketed, and they left the stairwell together, according to the report.

Investigators did not find any evidence of communication between Leffler and the male teacher in the teacher’s phone records.
