All About Former Coffee County GOP Cathy Latham
Cathy Latham (age 58, born in 1965) previously held the position of GOP chair for Coffee County and was a member of the executive committee of the Georgia Republican Party.
She faced indictment, along with former President Trump, on charges related to alleged election interference in Georgia.
Latham is confronting 11 serious charges, including Violating the Georgia RICO and Conspiracy to commit election fraud. The accusations against Latham revolve around her alleged permission for unauthorized forensics experts associated with SullivanStrickler to inspect the voting systems in Coffee County for an extended period.

Cathy Latham Denied Allegations
On January 7, 2021, a team of forensics experts affiliated with lawyers supporting President Donald Trump visited a county elections office in southern Georgia. Their objective was to duplicate sensitive software and data from the voting machines used in the county.
Video footage from surveillance cameras acquired by authorities indicates that Cathy Latham, a former Georgia Republican Party official, was present at the elections office that day. She made two separate visits, collectively spending over four hours there.
During one of her visits, she welcomed Scott Hall, a businessman. She ushered him into a non-public area where the forensics experts from the data firm SullivanStrickler were stationed, along with local officials.
Throughout the day, Latham was observed moving in and out of an area within the building where the experts conducted their work.
Unfortunately, this particular section was not within the field of view of the surveillance cameras. Latham was questioned about her actions in a civil lawsuit. In her sworn testimony, she said she had visited the Coffee County office that afternoon.
She clarified that she remained in the foyer and conversed with a junior official. This discussion pertained to an unrelated matter at the front desk.
