Early Life

Jason was born in Palo Alto, California, on April 12, 1977. His great-great-grandfather, Jacob Stern, moved to Hollywood in 1889 to become a realtor in Los Angeles after founding The Stern Realty Co.

He introduced the real estate business to the Oppenheim family, which has continued for five generations. Now, Jason and his twin brother Brett Oppenheim oversee the business.

As children, Jason and Brett weren’t always responsible. During their early teens, they were quite unruly. Their mother, Deborah Oppenheim, sent them to a correctional camp in Idaho to improve their behavior.

However, they returned unchanged. It was then their father, Bennett Oppenheim, took charge and guided them onto the right path. He was strict but it was for their own good.

Jason’s life took a positive turn when he enrolled at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California. Despite barely graduating, he transformed his lifestyle upon entering junior college.

Eventually, he earned admission to the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated top of his class with an undergraduate and Doctor of Law degree. From there, Jason pursued a career in law, practicing what he had worked so hard to learn.

Career

Jason Oppenheim began his career as a lawyer, working at the international law firm O’Melveny & Myers from 2003 to 2007. His role involved representing various corporate clients, and he excelled in his duties. However, he felt he wasn’t reaching his full potential.

This feeling prompted him to transition to the family business, Coldwell Banker, as a realtor. Jason swiftly made a name for himself, and his team became known as the No.1 Real Estate Team on the West Coast.

After three years in the industry, Jason established The Oppenheim Group brokerage on Sunset Blvd. and Sunset Plaza Dr. Here, he and his team consistently sell 100 properties annually, achieving record-breaking transactions. Some notable clients include Jessica Alba, Dakota Johnson, Kris Humphries, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Joel Kinnaman, among others.

In addition to his real estate success, Jason and his twin brother star in two Netflix original series, “Selling Sunset” and “Selling The OC,” showcasing their expertise in property transactions.

To date, Jason has visited 75 countries to scout properties and handle multi-million dollar deals. He also teaches Real Estate Practice at his alma mater, UC, and provides expert testimonies in real estate-related litigation cases. Furthermore, he has delivered a TED Talk, adding to his accolades.

Who is Jason Oppenheim’s Girlfriend?

Jason Oppenheim previously dated Chrishell Stause, his colleague from the real estate business whom he later brought onto the show “Selling Sunset.” Their relationship became public on Instagram when Chrishell posted pictures from their trip to Italy.

The last two images featured Jason, and they seemed more than just professional. However, by December of the same year, the couple had broken up.

Eight months later, rumors linked Jason to model Marie-Lou Nurk, who resides in France. She was spotted with Jason on the red carpet at the premiere of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.”

Their first public appearance together was in July 2022 during a vacation in Mykonos. While Jason hasn’t confirmed this new relationship, a recent video shows him pondering about moving to Paris with someone, and a well-groomed hand, likely Nurk’s, affectionately touches his beard.
