Marty York (age 43, born August 23, 1980) is an American actor and model who has been working in the acting industry since 1993. Most people recognize him for his performance as Alan in David Mickey Evans-directed film “The Sandlot.”

He was also in Ronny Jay’s comedy movie “The Brothers Sinclair” which was released in 2011.

Deanna Esmaeel, the mom of famous actor, Marty York, known for “The Sandlot” was sadly found dead at her home on October 12, 2023. Deanna, who was serving as sheriff’s deputy in Del Norte County, California, was found deceased by a police unit that was dispatched to her home when she didn’t show up for work and didn’t answer any calls.

The police are actively searching for Edward Patrick Davies, who is the main person suspected of being involved in Deanna’s death. Sheriff Garrett Scott confirmed this. Davies, who is 54 years old and recently changed his name from “Daniel James Walter,” was Deanna’s boyfriend.

A judge named Darren McElfresh from the Del Norte County Superior Court has given the police permission to arrest Davies. The last time anyone saw Davies, he was walking away from the area. He was wearing a beret-style hat, a white jacket, and blue jeans.

But during the peak of his career, Marty had a life-changing accident. People say he was going to an audition after school. Even though he was really tired and sleepy, he kept driving at 60 miles an hour. He got into a big car crash and woke up in the emergency room.
