Who is Tyre Nichols?

Tyre Nichols (born on June 5, 1993) was a 29-year-old Memphis, Tennessee, America resident. On January 7, Tyre was cruising in his car when he got stopped by some police officers for driving rashly. Law enforcers were wearing hoodies and were in an unmarked car.

Nichols thought they were gang members pretending to be police inspectors, which is why he drove away. Later Memphis Police chased him to arrest, but while coughing him, they used excessive force and broke his neck. Tyre was later rushed to hospital, where he died three days later on January 10.
