Deyemi Okanlawon (born on April 19, 1979) is a 43 years old Nigerian actor, producer, and investor. He is famous for the role of Kwabena Mills in the 2018 Netflix series “Kwabena Mills.”
He has been in the acting industry for more than a decade and has worked in 80+ movies. In 2022, he came to the limelight after performing the role of Kola Ademola alongside Ini Dima Okojie in “Blood Sisters” on April 5.
The Nigerian actor always stays busy because of his tight schedule. The good news for all the fans of Deyemi is that they might get to see him in one more project in 2022 as he is involved as an actor in a short film called “Insensible” and a movie named “Everything Scatter.”

The birth of Deyemi Okanlawon (age 43 years old) happened in a highly qualified family on April 19, 1979. Deyemi’s father, Adeyemi Okanlawon, used to work as an aircraft engineer, whereas his mother is a baker and involved in the bakery business.
Some people are unaware that Okanlawon is also well-qualified like his parents. He attended International School, Lagos, till 1997, and after that, he was admitted to the University of Lagos, where he graduated in Chemical Engineering. Okanlawon currently runs two companies Covenant Entertainment Services and Silverbird Film Distribution. How his career journey took a turn, and he entered the acting industry instead of working as a chemical engineer is an exciting story.
When Deyemi was studying at UOL, he used to work for a company named “Baker’s World” as a Freelance Sales Agent. In 2009 Okanlawon co-founded a company called Proshare Nigeria, which is currently Nigeria’s number one financial and economic information hub.
One thing that Okanlawon loves is to learn continuously. After graduation, he earned multiple certificates from different institutions. In 2011, the Nigerian guy realized that he wanted to do something in the entertainment industry, so he joined New York Film Academy. Here he learned different acting techniques, which helped him start his career in the acting industry.
The first role that he performed was of Mr. Alabi in a film named “ZR- 7 AKA The Red House Seven.” It was an Olufemi Ogunsanwo’s adventure drama involving artists like Yakubu Abashiya, Ayinla Abdulaheem, and Fakiyesi Ayotola.
After his first acting job, Deyemi acted in more than 80 shows and movies. Some of her most popular movies are “City Hustlers,” “Beautiful People,” “City Hustlers,” “Superstar,” “The Best Men,” “Online,” “Listening Ears,” “Mimi,” “The Wait,” “The Royal Hibiscus Hote,” and “Getting Over Him.”

In 2010 when Okanlawon was struggling to build his career, he met a lady named Damilola, and they both started dating afterward. This affair continued for three years, after which, in January 2013, the couple got tied into a relationship.
Three years after the marriage, Okanlawon and his wife welcomed their first kid, a son. A year after the first son, the Nollywood actor became father to one more son, whom the couple named Adeife Oluwatunwase.
